The Nature Conservancy's 2009 Annual Gathering & Field Days

  1. Register for the annual gathering either through the invitation you received in the mail, or by requesting an invitation by
  2. Check out directions to your field trip included with your confirmation letter.
  3. See the following link for state-wide park & ride Locations:
  4. You will then need to join this site by clicking on the 'join' button on the top right green bar of this page and following the joining instructions.
  5. Once you have joined, and are logged in, you can then
  6. Scroll down to the bottom of this page to the "Upcoming Events" section and
  7. Look for the "Annual Gathering" event posting (with a small icon of a calendar and the picture of a fox next to it.)
  8. To the right, click for "post a comment" (Note: If you click this link without signing up for or logging into the, no posting option will appear.) and the box that says "Add your comment."
  9. PLEASE NOTE: you do NOT have to RSVP at this site to attend the gathering. The RSVP section is simply a regular component of collectivex sites which cannot be modified. All registrations will be taken through snail mail as indicated on your invitation.
  10. You can then post a comment asking for a ride or offering to drive. Please put the following information in your comment:
  • Your name
  • Phone Number
  • From what town/Park & Ride you will be departing
  • The time of departure
  • The latest date/time riders can call you
  • How many people need a ride, or how many you can take if driving
  • Whether you need a ride or are offering to drive. (See example under "Annual Meeting" "Comments".)
